A sweet child has passed....
I watched Iysabella last night so my granddaughter and daughter in law could go to a wake. My daughter in law's boss' grandson died. He was 11 years old. He had been fighting brain cancer since he was 2. My Ed, my grandchildren, my daughter in law and I had been praying for him since he was diagnosed. Ed had left for Heaven before Ryan so yesterday when I heard the news I asked Ed to greet Ryan in Heaven. Christina said the parents and grandparents were "in shock, just like we were at Daddy's wake". As I said to Christina, even though he was ill, how do you prepare for your child to die? I don't think you can.
I know Ryan's pain is over...My daughter in law is getting me his mom's address so I can send her an FMO card and invite her to join. I don't know her but if I can help her in these early days I certainly will. Please pray for this sweet child's family. His name is Ryan O'Malley..
Dear God, please help Ryan's family to heal and have some moments of peace knowing that Ryan is no longer suffering and is held close in your loving arms. Please comfort Ryan's family and give them the peace only You can give. If I can be of service to this family please lead me to them. In Jesus name, Amen.

It is so heartbreaking watching a child suffer and die at such a young age. My heart goes out to Ryan\'s family. I hope his mother chooses to come to FMO.

OMG - this breaks my heart as one who knows what brain cancer in a child looks like. These children so afflicted are the greatest of warriors in fighting this battle. It is so unfair to see them suffering so and yet their leaving tears us apart. It is devasting to say the very least - I, so pray for this family that they will be comforted in some small way from our hearts to theirs. If there\'s anything I can do....I\'m here. Love Suzzanne

I\'ve heard that losing a child is the most difficult loss to deal with...how very sad.
