A Story of Loss, Survival, & Forgiveness

This short video spoke volumes to me about my loss, my sorrow, and my acknowledgement that life is a whole lot bigger than just about me.  This is so much easier to say than to remember when the tears flow and the days stretch before me in loneliness.
For those who take the time to watch the video, I hope it is an encouragement for the future.   Decades and centuries come and go; we're born, we die; but there is a master plan that we pay so little attention to.  I think we all tend to look at life through a peephole and see only what is in that small round view directly in front of us.  There's life all around us, but it's difficult for us to focus on any of it when being consumed with loss.  Help me to pay attention to ALL of life, Lord.

I don\'t know that I could be as forgiving. It is food for thought. I wondered after watching it about what he would do when his daughter gets old enough to figure out that her father was friends with the guy who killed her mother. Will she be as forgiving? Complicated.

Love and Hugs, Martha

It\'s a very powerful story. I am not sure I could find it in my heart to have the same forgiveness....I would pray too......but honestly, I don\'t know.
