A Sore Reminder

Just think about how far I'd be now if I had the mindset I have now and made different decisions.  But, I'm a firm believer that living with Joe propelled me far enough to finally make the decision to leave and start anew independently.

Quiet at work today.  I managed to get a 400 appt at the dentist where I was examined and given a 2100.00 estimate on making my mouth whole again.  I've had a toothache for a week now.  I have a large gaping hole in a back wisdom tooth that must be pulled and a root canal on two other teeth and various cracks that need to be filled.

The extraction and root canal on one tooth is 900.00.  I figure if I work both sat and sun this week and next week I can make 800.00 to pay for it.  Otherwise i could have the pull first then the root canal later.  When it rains, it pours.  I just pray the pain and antibiotic meds she gave me will carry thru for another two weeks.  I figured I could split the pain meds in 2 and only take them when the pain is excruciating.  No half assing Me this time-time to fix Kelly-teeth and soul.

On a more forward note, I bought a table on Letgo for 20.00.  I haven't decided where I will put it but I'm leaning toward a nightstand next to the bed.  Just depends on how much room I have after I get the bed situated.

I didnt get home till 700! So the night is almost here.  Roomie comes home tommorow and I need to clean house.

All and all, a quiet day. I'm glad tommorows Friday.

The best thing I ever used on an excruciating tooth ache was clove oil. It numbs it just like novocaine and you can buy it in any drug store without a prescription. It's sold under the trade name "Red Cross" and it comes with tweezers and small cotton swabs but I always used q-tips instead. It stinks but dam it works better then anything!

Sorry about having to have dental work. Dental pain is awful and dental work is so expensive.

Glad work was quiet. Get some good sleep tonight. You must be exhausted.

From what you recorded here, a week of one person cleaning as you go would equal an improvement on his housekeeping business as usual.

Congrats on finding the fortitude to get the check up. A filling fell out from between my two front teeth a few weeks ago and I can't handle the thought of navigating The New Normal to get it fixed. Those visits were gnarly enough under the Old Regime.

It's terrible we have to pay a fortune for rights in court, to keep our health and our teeth, and 8.00 for a freaking hamburger at McDonalds..Napkins not included.

I don't even think our dentists are open for business yet here, unless it's an emergency. They canceled my 6 month check up in April and just said we'll call you when we are ready.

I have a colonoscopy next week (rescheduled due to COVID-19) at a hospital and I have to get tested for COVID-19 the day before. I'm dreading the COVID-19 test more than the colonoscopy, haha!

Is it really 8 bucks for a hamburger at McDonalds?? I've not been to a McDonalds in like over 20 years so honestly I have no idea how much that stuff costs anymore.

Yes yesterday I had a hankering for a Cheeseburger. 8.00 for a meal at mcdonalds... it should be against the law.
