A sign from my angel?
I was just thinking about all the time my son could have been delivered and have been fine. He passed at 39 weeks, 6 days. All the appts I went to during this time, all I needed was some intuition to tell them to get this baby out now! Well, I then heard this loud lip smacking sound on my right side. It was pretty loud, like it was right in my ear. I asked my coworker behind me if she heard it and she didn't. I hope this was a kiss from my son. I know most likely there's an explanation for it, but I am really hoping it was him, especially since I've been feeling really guilty lately that everything was not done to save him. He is my little boy, we spent 9 months together, I miss him so much.

It may have been him. I know I\'ve had at least 3-4x where I\'m sure Imani was telling me she\'s OK. I would be thinking about certain times I carried her and how happy she made me. All of the sudden, I\'d feel so calm peaceful and serene. I\'ve never felt that before - ever. Then I\'d feel a coldness just on the front side of my arms between my shoulders and elbows. It happened even when I was wearing long sleeves. I\'m pretty sure that calm, serene feeling was my Imani. If I am right, and what I was feeling was how our Angels feel, it is so comforting.
I too lost my Imani at full term just like your sweet little Angel. It makes it so much harder because you always think if only they would\'ve taken the baby a week earlier, a few days earlier ... they\'d still be here. If only I\'d known something was wrong. I completely understand how you feel! I too have had moments of feeling guilty, like I should\'ve known something was wrong. I told Imani I was sorry every time I got to have time with her. You feel like you should\'ve known as his mommy, but in reality, we couldn\'t have known anything would go wrong so close to their due dates. It is not our fault. When you have a complication-free pregnancy and no warning signs, no one anticipates this happening. I too miss my baby every day. I\'ve accepted that I will always feel this way. I just try to remember how much beauty, happiness & love she brought into my world those 37 weeks, 6 days I had her with me. I feel so fortunate because I didn\'t think I could have kids, and even though I wanted her here with me, she will always be my baby! She will always be a gift to me! ...Just as your son was a beautiful gift to you!
I still live with those feelings of guilt too. I wish I could have known what I know now and that I would have noticed any subtle signs of distress from my son but I didnt at the time. My son passed away days after his due date and I wish my doctor would have induced labor on my due date. I had an appointment on his due date and his heartbeat was strong then. Like your angel, my son was full term and ready for delivery too. I view it as him being minutes, not days, away from being in my arms and I\'m sure you feel the same way. It makes me so sad. I wish I could have saved him somehow. Ive been upset and prayed telling my son how sorry I am that I didnt know he was in distress and then have had moments of peace following that. I wouldnt be surprised if that was your angel sending you a kiss. 0:-) Hugs to you!
I lost Annaya at 37 weeks. She tried to come a week earlier and I was told to drink fluids and put my feet up until the contractions stopped. I should have listened to my step sister. I\'m sure we all have our would\'ve, should\'ve, could\'ve moments... Luckily, I already have my new OB ready for when I am pregnant again. She has also agreed to induce me at 37 weeks.
Hugs!!!

God do I ever feel the same way. How many times we could have saved her. . . I made it to 36.3 weeks and babies have certainly been born much sooner and been fine. :-(
I had a heart monitor at home and lost the heartbeat just hours after I had checked it. We all feel the way you do, always asking our selfs what if. It\'s not fair but it happens and there is nothing any of us could of done.
I believe our angels give a signs that they are ok. I can feel Jake near me sometimes. Sometimes in the night, I hear a little voice saying, mommy. I go in to check on my children, and they are all asleep. I wish every day that I could turn back time, and save my son. If I just would have gone to the hospital, and demanded they take him out, would it have made a difference. I wander this so much. Send you a hug!
I believe Lauren is there she gives me peace at night when I can\'t sleep. I think your sweet baby throws you kisses everyday. Believe believe believe I say. Lauren died on her original due date 1/15 then they moved her date cuz she was smaller and measuring perfect for 1/25. I had 10 days before her new due date but I had six hours with her. I can\'t change that I don\'t should on myself anymore.
I lost my little boy Fergus at 39weeks 5days. My pregnancy was problem free as well. Its just so unfair! Thinking of you xxx000
