A Sign--and a Biopsy...

On Thursday Morning, I had gone to visit the Statue of Padre Pio. I wanted to go there, before my scheduled Biopsy at 1 PM. The week before my journey, I began praying to Saint Theresa, and asking her for a rose, from Heaven's Garden...little did I know, she would send me a sign. :) When I got to Padre Pio's Statue, I had to walk through the snow, I found a place in the snow to place my pot of silk pink roses. I then closed my eyes, and began a short prayer. When I opened my eyes, to look at the statue...something caught my attention. A Single Red Rose, resting between the fence, and the statue...wrapped with a red bow. Alive, Brand New, and sweet smelling. It caught me by surprise, as I remember asking for "Just one rose". And was I ever shocked to see, a beautiful rose right in front of me. I felt a sense of relif come over me...something I never felt before.
My Biopsy was just how I prayed for. "Pain Free". :) I didn't even feel the needle, lidocaine, or Biopsy itself. The radiologist was great, and the nurse was wonderful. I now await the results...which will probably be on Monday or Tuesday of this week...I will post when I get the results. I don't know where this journey will take me, but I am hoping for benign results. He even went as far as to ultrasound my lymph nodes, and he said, they looked completely normal. So right now, this lump, is grape sized, 1.4 cm. and hasn't spread to a lymph node.
The wait is the worst, and I am almost afraid to pick up the phone...I will be back with a yes, or a no answer...Take Care, and chat with you all soon.
