A secluded haven...
I am thinking these days,perhaps a tiny little secluded cabin deep in the woods....just me, a journal, (and maybe the dog) is my best option.... :)

What a lovely thought! Until you can make that happen, do you have any movies with beautiful forest scenes? I just watched one the other day, called City Boy (based on the novel Freckles by Gene Stratton-Porter). It was so soothing to see those huge trees against the sky.

That lucky dog is my thought, but our furry friends are often the most loyal of all.
I grew up in a place like that. When you listen to the "quiet", you hear all sorts of sounds of the birds and other wild critters. Night is very dark unless there is a full moon. You can even run around at high noon "naked".
