A scare for me!!
I turned 48 on Sunday nite- went to bed and had terrible pressure in my chest! I sat up most of the nite. At 6:45 am , Byron took me to the ER. I thought I was having a heart attack. I was admitted and had 5 EKGs, heart ultrasound, stress test, and wore a heart monitor for 24 hours. All heart tests came back normal so they are thinking it was acid reflux. I was relieved it was not my heart! So now, I hope it doesn't return. It is so cold in ND! -30 air temp. -50 windchill- brrrrr! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Panic attacks mimic heart attack, do you have any anxiety issues or history? It feels horrible, short of breath, sharp pain.

Hey Rynette , Glad that it wasn\'t the pump !! That had to be an awful feeling . Acid reflux isn\'t much fun either . If you get that alot you might think about asking your Doctor about Barrets Syndrome , ( scarring of the Esophgus ) Spelling ? Which can lead to other problems
