A Remarkable Soul

I had the priveledge of meeting a remarkable soul here. She had a beauty she didn't realize. She'd lived a difficult life in her short years on Earth. She had been abused and molested, she had lost her closest family members, putting huge gaps in her support system. She was reunited with family and gained strength and God called her precious baby girl to be his special Angel after 3 short days here with her. She was facing many challenges in her grief and was even dealt with harshly here, of all places, where we told her she would be safe. We tried to keep her safe, but the Devil is busy. She was just getting her bearings back and was progressing in her healing when Our Lord and Savior called her home to be with Him and her precious Poppy and her Mom.
I wonder if she had any idea how deeply she touched us here. I don't know that I said it "aloud" while she was with us. You are a remarkable soul, Kelsey, and you touched us all deeply and profoundly. We will miss you so very much, but not because we grieve for you...no, you are in the promised land where there is no more pain or sorrow. We grieve for ourselves, for the time we'll be apart.
I pray we'll meet on the other side one day. Until then, there will be a special fairie in my daughter's room...her name is Kelsey.
