a really bad day

Today really stinks! It's been 2 1/2 weeks since we buried my FIL. It's still really hard on my husband because he took care of him for 15 years and doesn't know what to do now, his routine has gone haywire. I just found out that my daughter is using again, and her sister has to kick her out because she can't have it around her children. (of course) I'm still going through sll the court drama over custody of my grandaughter, which is costing me over $7,000.00 so far because her Mom would'nt sign the papers before but has now found out she doesn't have a leg to stand on. She said she'll sign but hasn't done so yet and I'm worried that she'll end up back in jail without getting that taken care of. I hate to find out she's using again but in my heart I knew it. She is still my daughter and I keep hoping and praying she will get her life together. I hate waiting for the phone call that will tell me she's gone but at the same time knowing that is a real possibility. I love my GD more than anything, but I hadn't planned on raising another child at this stage in my life. Sometimes I just wonder if I will ever be able to live my life without taking care of all these people. I know God doesn't give me more than I can handle but sometimes I feel buried beneath the weight of it all. I'm praying awfully hard that I can keep the dark cloud from desending over me again. I have to hang on .

I am sorry about your father-in-law and your daughter. God Bless you for being there for everyone. It gets really hard when everyone is depending on you for support. Sometimes I feel like an empty pitcher that everyone is pouring out of except that no ones remembers to feel it up again. It\'s hard to keep giving when you feel like no one is giving any support to you. I understand what you mean about loving your grand daughter but not expecting to have to raise her. I have said that exact same thing myself. When I do, my husband says I am a horrible person and should feel grateful for having a chance to raise them. As you can understand, I am grateful but wasn\'t ready to be full time mom again. Hang in there and remember we are all here to support each other.

I\'m sorry about how you can\'t seem to catch a break. often we can stop enabling and let them figure it out on their own but when it involves a child, that makes it all different. hang in there and pray. only God knows what is best overall. keep running from that dark cloud. we can run together.

When it rains it, it pours sometimes, doesn\'t it? You certainly have a lot on your plate and I\'m glad you\'re praying because God hears. Sometimes it doesn\'t seem like it but he\'s listening. As you said yourself to me..\"It\'s good that your\'re turning a positive out of a negative\". That\'s how we learn and grow from the obstacles we face. And what possible good things can come out of the bad you\'re experiencing? Well.....in time you will see. Take care my friend and I will pray for you.
