A REAL LIFE TRUE STORY!!!!!!
This morning I was so thrilled as I'd done a double load of laundry last nite and it was ready for the dryer this AM. I have a huge washer/dryer. So, all is in the dryer and just about done when I open the door to the dryer and this horrific oder hits me in the face. Well, folks, it's ramp season here and that was my first thought that the clothes worn ramp digging had accidently had a few stuck in them. I began to dig thru my clean stinking laundry to find handfuls of wild garlic!!!!! Now, people, all items needed rewashed, I had to scour down the dryer, which the oder gave me a headache, and vac out the dryer vent as the wild garlic had got stuck in the filter system!!!!OK, so, after cleaning dryer, still stinks. I Febreeze the sucker royally and left open to dry. I also put a fabric sheet in and ran the dryer on low heat. DEAR LANDS A GOSHEN!There was enough of the wild garlic to keep Emril in hog heaven for a week. The only good thing about this "adventure" is that I will ask my youngest son (yes, the dirty dog caper!) where he found it as I want to find it to dry, chop and use to cook with. That's some good garlic. Now, it's a good thing my baby boy is so sweet and cute cause he's just about used up his momma's good grace and Advil! LOLAfter 3 boys' laundry, I've located dead worms in sock drawers that had cooked in the summer heat for a week, a bat that was caught IN BROAD DAYLIGHT (it had to be diseased as bats don't come out in the DAY), oh, and the lovely copperhead baby snake that was sooooooo cute. Yeah, and if you can't figure out why I dye my hair and wear makeup, I ain't explainin'. God's grace is sufficient, but my nerves ain't! Hope you can giggle all day long thinking of dirty dogs (prior story in die laffing) and wild garlic. After smelling my dryer, why on Earth did the Children of Israel want to go back to Egypt for the leeks!? OIY VEY!
