A ray of sunshine
That's what I got today. My dear friend was told that the tumour on her lung has shrank dramatically with chemo :o) She's felt like hell at times but it's paying off, this news made my day, I am so happy for her and her family.I felt a bit guilty because surely cancer is far worse than what I had? I was beating myself up for feeling sorry for myself but then I thought hang on.. these PE's are killers, I probably feel just as ill with pain and fatigue. I didn't know anything about clots at all until I had mine, knew all about various cancers but clots hadn't come onto my radar. I was watching Extreme dreams with Ben Fogle the other evening. This guy got severe altitude sickness and Ben was saying how serious it was. All these paramedics were surrounding the guy and I just broke down. It made me relive that night again, god I hope these episodes stop soon!! I'm off the antibiotics and steroids and today I started bringing green gunk up again. I'm tired of being ill, I went outside for just a few minutes yesterday and my chest has been sore ever since. Should I try to be positive? I don't feel it, I want to curl up and hide but everyone keeps pulling me out again. Hearing the fantastic news about Dorrie really lifted me but now it's late and I'm sitting here on my own, everything comes back to me. It's going to be a long night..
