I dunno how to state this, but as an only child raised by her grandparents with no knowledge of her father and....unfortunately manipulative mother (Grandma tried to warn me....I was too nave to understand then.)....and close to my grandparents I really don\'t have family to turn to. I\'m here in search of some alleviation of my anxieties a depression. I dunno where to really start other than other\'s inspirational quotes which resound true to me one moment and ring very hollow the next. Thoughts? Help? Please? Thanks.

I feel a bit guilty being here right now. Suddenly a few things in my life have made an abrupt turn to positive. (Just waiting for that other shoe to drop, y\'know?) My little \"tribble\" is getting his winter coat, which I love as it\'s soft and fluffy. Plus, an old love reappeared in my life, awakening feelings I was comfortably resigned to not having. It\'s amazing to actually feel love and hope again. It seems, for the moment, I am enveloped in the warm, fuzzy, sappy feeling of love. Or maybe it\'s just that they put me on 60 mg of Cymbalta.
Dangit! I loved that little guy! He was my friend no matter how bizarre nor dumbass I was. He just loved. (Docs said \"Old Age.\" I say NOT lack of love.) Been cleaning thoroughly. Another furfriend? Opinions?
