A Quick Up Date

I just wanted to stop by to say "Hello"!! I'm decorating my parents side of there house for Christmas.. It's still a struggle to do anything for any holiday since Ryan left this earth. I just don't have the Ambition to get up to do it..The thing is my mother isn't able to do it like she use to all these years, and I don't blame her.. SOOOO I Had to step up to the plate and take over her position. Which I have been doing the last 3 years.. I just soon go out to dinner, and be done with it, O"Well!!!! Tonight around 10:00 I have to go to Logan Airport and pick up my daughter and her husband, they are coming back from an awesome wedding which was in Savannah Ga. I can't wait to here about it...I'm going to cut this short "COZ I Have to decorate, errr", it includes cleaning as I go a long, mom doesn't clean anymore. So if I don't do it it doesn't get clean..I will get back to writing in my journal, I know I'm lame about it, LOL.. I Love you ALL and miss seeing you all!! Have a Great Day!! XOXOXOXOXOXOXO Kelly
OH YA! Forgot to mention one of my male friends passed away suddenly. Keith was 52, he was a very handsome man. He had a Seizure, he had been fighting the addiction, mostly Alcohol..It is sad.. I can't believe all the funerals I have been to sense my son Ryan passed over to the good lord. It is non stop, scary!!

So many losses, sorry about your friend passing.

I don\'t decorate outside any more and all I do in the house is a tree. I figure the less I put up the less I have to take down. Works for me.

Have a peaceful Christmas Kelly.

I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. I too have been to far too many funerals since Lisa died.
I am surprisingly positive this year. I am not sure why. So I have done some decorating and will be entertaining on the weekend. I know myself though, I could bottom out without warning.
Your mom is lucky to have you. Not all daughters would decorate and clean.
Wishing you peace.
Love and hugs, Marlene

So sorry for you friends passing. It is true too many losses.
The decorating you are doing is truly an act of kindness that will come back to you for sure. I feel the same and am doing it for my Mom too. It is good to clean and get out of my head for a time. May the holidays come and go with the least heartache. Love and Hugs. Kathy

Hi Kelly! I\'m sorry for the loss of your friend. That is scary, about all the losses since Ryan transitioned. I am glad that your daughter and husband are visiting. That is great you\'re stepping up to the plate, as you say. BUT please remember to try to keep a reserve of energy--just in case--These holiday times are stressful enough for Moms that \"haven\'t\" had the worst possible thing happen to themmuch less US Moms with all the \"triggers\" that are potentially out there, during this sentimental, holiday timeLove, Donna

Appreciate the update dearest Kelly and know that having your daughter and her husband living with you means SO much now. Hope they had a wonderful time at the wedding and I\'m sure they had a lot to share. I\'ll bet you missed them! :)

So sorry about your friend and we understand about the ravages of addiction and why some can find sobriety and others cannot will always be a question that I have? I suppose when I transition all of these questions that I do have won\'t matter anymore.

You are a wonderful daughter to do these things for your mom and I\'m sure it lifts her heart and she is so very appreciative.

Thinking of Ryan and of you and sending the tightest heart (((hug))) that I have and a juicy smooch just for you. :)

May your holidays be gentle and I know they are brighter because Erica and her hubby are with you. What a gift that IS!
