A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Dear Lord,
This world can be a difficult place, a place of suffering and tears. Let me give comfort to those in need, and let me share Your love with those who grieve. When I encounter events that I cannot understand, Lord, keep me ever mindful of Your infinite wisdom and love. When I meet those who mourn, guide my speech.And when I, too, become discouraged, turn my thoughts to Your love and to Your promises.

As I walk the road of grief with my DS friends, I hope to bring them encouragement for the journey. "When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I." Psalm 61:2

You are definately right about prayer. I wouldn\'t have come as far as I have without it.God has his reasons for everything that happens sometimes it is just to hard to find that reason.
