I found this poem on my myspace blog and had forgotten it was there as I rarely go to myspace anymore. I wrote it last summer.
Purpose stands beyond the veil. While this sea we cannot sailOnly thrust to and froas the mighty waves thrash us so...Purpose eludes metho frantically and desperatelyI attempt the impossiblejust to push and just to pull...Purpose, oh God, why?must it hide from my eyeThe hunter in me tiresStop I must to rest in the briers...Purpose, oh some daySome day I whisper as I layI will know youWhen the veil I pass through...

Wonderful, makes people think about future, past and beyond the veil and making sure all our choices are the right ones in life to be allowed beyond the veil.

You guys are going to give me a big head. lol ; ) Vicki, I have thought of being a writer since I was a teen and still seeking an online writing position. Started 3 books and got stuck dang it. Maybe what I should be writing is poems and short stories.
