A Poem I wrote
I saw someone else wrote a poem when they were dealing with horrible pain and it reminded me of when I wrote my poem because of the same thing - before they diagnosed me with fibromyalgia or anything. One doctor just thought I was a drug seeker... and I was so upset. People who are in real pain are the people who should be seeking the drugs - not the addicts. Anyway, I decided to look up and find my poem to post just in case it could help someone. God did hear me.... he heard my cry. I am not healed but I am doing better and I am not alone in pain.
Broken
I'm brokenMy body ebbs with painNever ceasingNever tame
I want to be whole again And do my part Help shoulder the burden That I helped start
From where I sit I see things undone I'm taunted, haunted By things undone
I pray for relief I long to break free Let me out of this prison that no one can see
I'm broken Wondering why Please dear God Hear my cry
I wrote this under a pen name I use - Kay Raisy. Here is a link where I posted it on a writing site. You can see other things I've written there.
