a peaceful day
today has been a slow and peaceful day.....I over slept yesterday and am sprt of paying for it today.....feel a bit draggy. I am going to a friends house tonight to christen her new deck and fun with the ladies...men are welcome (sort of...LOL) Hubs plans to stay far away!
I spent most of the day making all the stuff to do my cedar planked nachos. then I headed out to the hammock, I downloaded some new meditations and they were very nice.....I had someone watching over me today while I meditated. There was a dove sitting on a corner of the dog kennel when I got out there and he stayed with me for the whole hour that I was out there. It was very comforting to have him there. He actually nestled right down and got comfy too.
the pouch who usually stays with me while I meditate was over playing with the neighbour kids and is right now passed out on the couch with her feet up in the air....she looks blissed out....oh what a life!
going to head to the big city tomorrow to take a friend shopping for shoes for her sister's wedding.....it is quite the ordeal for her to buy shoes since she lost most of her toes to frostbite when she was a teenager. She is very comfortable with it but the look on some of the salespeoples faces when she tries on shoes is priceless!
Off to get ready for the deck party!!!

Shoe shopping!!! I love it!! Except now I only buy reasonable shoes, not as much fun shopping for those. And I would love to see the look on those sale person\'s face especially if your friend asked for open toed shoes! :-O

Sounds like the dove liked your meditation. Whenever an animal makes a significant appearance in my life, I look up the meaning. When the bull was trying to charge my dogs and then me, I had to look him up. It asked if I was being too stubborn and I had to laugh, but the flip side was if I had let someone else have control and I did the day before. The horrid hike. It was funny and he finally got home with my help.
