a peaceful day

 today has been a slow and peaceful day.....I over slept yesterday and am sprt of paying for it today.....feel a bit draggy. I am going to a friends house tonight to christen her new deck and fun with the ladies...men are welcome (sort of...LOL) Hubs plans to stay far away!
I spent most of the day making all the stuff to do my cedar planked nachos. then I headed out to the hammock, I downloaded some new meditations and they were very nice.....I had someone watching over me today while I meditated. There was a dove sitting on a corner of the dog kennel when I got out there and he stayed with me for the whole hour that I was out there. It was very comforting to have him there. He actually nestled right down and got comfy too.
the pouch who usually stays with me while I meditate was over playing with the neighbour kids and is right now passed out on the couch with her feet up in the air....she looks  blissed out....oh what a life!
going to head to the big city tomorrow to take a friend shopping for shoes for her sister's wedding.....it is quite the ordeal for her to buy shoes since she lost most of her toes to frostbite when she was a teenager. She is very comfortable with it but the look on some of the salespeoples faces when she tries on shoes is priceless!
Off to get ready for the deck party!!!
