a past occurence

This particular occurrence happened about 2 years ago. It was right around the holiday season, and I was still playing World of Warcraft. Money was tight, and we couldn't afford to renew my subscription at the time. A very close friend I've known since my sophomore year of high school sent me a 30 day subscription gift. My "loving" husband's reaction was to say "he does know you married, right?" said with a very sarcastic tone. I told him "Yes, and it doesn't matter anyway. He's gay."
