A nice little visitor at my door today
Last June my son & his family, wife, grandson, came to live near us, but far enough that we had to take the car to go visit.Well the owner of the house they were renting, has sold his house in Montreal and had gave my son his 2 months notice, so he had to move by July 1st.So yesterday they spent the day moving not further away, but up my road, which some of you know we live way down in the country, no neighbours or nothing but fields of Hay and corn surrounding us, well my son is just up the road now.So today I heard knock at the door, who do I see looking in my glass door window, my 11 year old grandson.He had biked to my home to see Grand-Maw.I was so delighted that he took his bike and came to see me.He's so inteligent, man the kids today talk like they are in their 20's and in reality they are 10-11 years old.So we had a nice cool drink of limonade and talked for over an hour.It was quiet the surprise to see him, and I realised how nice it will be to have them even closer than before.We had another nice sunny day, I do hope the rain gives us a break, it's been rainning for weeks now.Hope all is well in DS Land.Have a wonderful evening my friends.MckenzieOne day at the time

Awwww....a special visit from a special grandson...how very sweet. I know all about rainy days here in Iowa...lol. But...the sun seems to be returning and it\'s been beautiful here the past week or so. Gotta love Mother Nature...she\'s a wonder of wonders.
There is nothing more wonderful then to have at your front door a bright, happy and loving face of a child that has come just to see you...
