A new year and new things..
I've never had a boyfriend on my birthday, valentines, christmas or any other special occasions before. And, in the space of 4 months, i've had one for every special occasion i can think of.
christmas's are usually quite tight for money, but since i've had a job and considerably more money i really splashed out and spent £100 on my man, 2 tickets to see his faverout band in manchester and the new Assasins Creed game. For valentines i would have spent more however, the awkward boy wouldnt give me a clue as to what he wanted until friday, giving me only the weekend to buy it - both days i work till mid afternoon and then normally spend time with my mother who i only really get to see on weekends or am at home cleaning/tidying. So i didnt have much time. However, my lovely mother and sister did me the favour of buying it for me. A cactus. Not something i thought people would be interested in for valentines but oh well.
Me and Triss have had our arguments like most couples and its been really difficult for me, this would be the first of many things for me. I've never been in a proper relationship before, you know like a real grown up relationship, most of the guys ive been with before have never been bothered about spending time with me or just treated me like shit and didnt last long. Never long enough to have arguments with or want to spend lots of money or even think about the future with.
I do all those things with Triss, we argue, we make-up, we spend money on eachother and all i do is dream about the future, if we'll end up living together, if we'll get married and have kids and what their names will be. It's sad i admit but i cant wait to have kids, i already have my names picked out, Isobella-Rose and Wyatt-James. It doesnt really scare me.
What scares me is imagining a future where he's not in it.. i know sometimes after our arguments or even if im just in a bad mood i question how strong we are and how we'll last but really, when it comes down to it, i do love him and i dont ever want to loose him.
Tomorrow he is taking me to the cinema and then out for a meal at a lovely spannish restaurant in town. Since ive never had a valentines before ive no idea what to expect.
I am happy, and it's about freaking time! :)
