A new SOTH
We were asked by our pastor, a few weeks ago, if we would be a host home for a small group meeting. We, of course, said yes. It started last Tuesday night. One couple came and another host home had no one come, so we decided to join groups and they came to our house. Another woman came as well as a younger couple that are getting married soon.
As the conversation went on the woman that came alone,Mary, started to tell a story about how "on that Sunday at the healing service" ...I had missed it for some reason..."she felt her life shift". She went on to say that her emotions..not her physical body as much, but her emotions were healed. She said that she had been crying for weeks before, and now it was done.
My curious mind wondered what she had been crying for. She is new to our church and I hadn't had a chance to talk to her yet..then, she said the words...Those defining, joining words..."at that service ...that day marks the year anniversary of my daughter's death..."
How is it that no one around us did not tell us about each other...I should have been there holding her hand..no matter...I have someone close by..in real time now to hug and help and vomit my sadness on.
i am so in awe at how God works..thank you, thank you, a million times thank you.

I\'m thinking you were brought together at the right time and right place for each of you. Nice to have a friend who truly knows what each other is going through and yet so very sad to have to be in the same \"boat.\"
Hugs to you and your new mom of an angel.
Debbie
Our hearts ache with her, as only another \"mom\" could understand. I do find it fascinating how and when I meet moms. No coincidences.
I\'m glad you\'ve found each other and can share hugs and tears and even laughter some day.
Hugs~~
I was contacted lately on Facebook by an old neighbor who had also lost her son. A couple years ago I found out that Josh\'s best friend (elementary through high school) had joined him in heaven. Yes God\'s timing is beautiful!
Now you can be there for each other...God works in mysterious ways. Hugs, Ann
You will both be blessings in one another\'s lives that is for certain. There is nothing like having a sister of the heart in the flesh to hug from time to time.
Gentle care as walk this path together and grateful you found one another.
Loving care,
XO Joanie
You were meant to meet.
Hugs,
Marlene
Yes it is so weird how things happen. The two moms who I have been trying to reach out to have not responded yet. I am still trying and praying for them both. The connections are such a great help to have in this journey.
Hugs to you all, Kathy
