A New Day, a New Hope.

I began today by getting up and meditating. Today I centered my thoughts around gaining more wisdom and the knowledge to use it correctly. It is there, just outside of us, waiting for us to ask and I have. No..I am not over the top and down the slope :>)! Love for the right reasons will draw wisdom and knowledge to us. It is accomplished by communication. We are not alone in this vast universe, nor are ignored. Do you know that if you have a plant that is in need..it helps to talk with it gently and lovingly? They do respond positively to kindness and love; and just as they do this so also will many people. The problem is that people are wary of love; they feel a motive is always behind it and sometimes they are correct, and sometimes the miss the mark by lightyears. So what is love? I'll tell you what it is not first. It is not being obsessed with someone and their body. It is not ownership of anyone or anything. It asks for nothing material in return except at times for that love to be returned, and if it is not it quietly accepts it and continues to love asking for nothing. Love IS putting other lives ahead of your own, not because they are more valuable than you...but because you value them. They have Graced your life, just as you are Gracing mine. Love is much more than words of deeds, it is a thread of life.
