A new chapter
So I finally left my boyfriend after he maced me and tried to make me stop breathing in the bathroom. I’ve been living at this females program for about 3 weeks now and I haven’t been this happy in awhile. I am in a new relationship. It is online but I’m meeting him tomorrow. We’ve been talking for a month and a half and he makes me so happy. I pray that he is different than my ex. I want to settle down and have a family so I’m hoping that he’s the one. *Fingers crossed*

Too soon to be dating. I know you want a real home and think he can give you that but it's too soon. Be careful. I know online is really the only place to meet people but people on those dating apps can lie. Make sure he has good moral values and doesn't want to sleep with you on the first date or two. Again, I know that is hard when you are talking to a person everyday, but you need to wait another month and a half after dating before getting intimate or the relationship won't go anywhere and you won't respect each other.
When I left my abusive ex, I wanted to start dating again right away because I needed to prove to my brain that all men weren't like him, and that I could get another man. He always told me I couldn't. However, I realized that I was in no shape to date, I would have been putting all my burdens on the new guy or showing my vulnerability to be taken advantage of.
You need to work on yourself so you can attract someone better, someone healthy and not evil. Get out of that shelter and on your own two feet.
Sociopaths will always be attractive to you so long as you remain a hurting empty hole. They can spot a hole from miles away. They know exactly how to manipulate you, how to fill you up so you're addicted and they can manipulate and control you. You move in with him, he isolates you. You depend on him and can't leave. Don't put yourself in that situation.
You're saying alot of things that are red flags to me. Be very very cautious.
