A new chapter

Even though the situation between my daughter and I remains unchanged - she still is estranged from me. I did speak with her on the phone this week and told her that I was giving her whatever space she needed. I told her that she would need to contact me if she wanted to have a relationship. Emotionally, I've let go now and decided that it's not up to me. I let her know that I wanted a relationship with her but that it was OK if he didn't want a relationship with me.
It's like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I feel so much better.
It's a beautiful sunny day in more ways then one.
