A new day
well, so much for resting yesterday. Janis rang to say she was coming down & would call in for coffee. So up I get & then had a nail appt at 11'o'clock. She came with Christmas presents & I had'nt even bought hers! Anway we had a coffee before I had to leave.
It was so lovely to get my nails done. It is always fun to see Christine.My plan was to go home & rest. So home I go & have some lunch & was just about to have a rest when Ed rang & asked me how I was feeling. Now, he does'nt do that so I thought "what does he want?" Anyway, he wanted me to put some money in the bank. I drove to his work to get his card, had a coffee as he had lunch & then hit Castle Towers. I was lucky to get a parking space & went to the bank. I had every intention of going home but the humidity was so bad I was feeling really off so decided to have a cool drink. Then I went into a little Asian shop & was able to get some lovely presents for next to nothing. Next thing I am somewhere else trying clothes on with my cool drink trickling through my head & down my back! I might just as well thrown it over my head.
I finally got home at 5pm. I was so tired but as usual was wide awake at 3am & awake for a couple of hours.I have been up for a while as Ed sleeps as he is working late today. That means I get the remote again tonight!
It is so humid again, spitting with rain which makes it worse. Two cockatoos are at the screen door looking at me waiting for breakfast! If I don't feed them, they will chew through the clothes line again! They are beautiful but so destructive.
As soon as Poppy hears me getting seed, she comes flying downstairs & out to the deck!!
I can feel myself wilting so MUST rest. Can't afford to crash. work tomorrow. Bed calls.

I have to admit that I\'m a little jealous of your cockatoos. How funny that they \"revolt\" if their food gets empty. Hope they don\'t take it out on poor Poppy.
I hope that you\'re feeling better. Today wasn\'t a good day here- totally opposite ends of the weather spectrum from you but we\'re on the same globe.
