A must read for all groups

I haven't been on this site since maybe dec. or jan? Can't remember. I used it to help me then would leave because it only did so good. I continued to be sad, it was turning into a depression. I had a great childhood, then in my 20's life was just fun fun fun & I made too much money for my age & too immature to do something sensible with it. I thought I would stay young forever! My 30's were even better. Still young but smarter & making more money & getting smarter on what to do with it. Life was so great and I would hear my parents say life is hard & it gets harder but they didn't allow me to experience that because they always looked out for me & loved me & I also thought I had such a long way to go to worry about that subject. Then I get married to a "superman", a great guy and I had my cinderella life & even more money. We traveled everywhere & I had the best fun with my best friend and loved the security & safety I had with this man. But he was a fake in a way. He wore the "good guy" mask", but lived a double life. He SUDDENLY(i had no clue, those are the worst) leaves me for one of our coworkers, i turned 40, i lost all my finances in the divorce & had a breakdown & lost my job. I hated him. For 3yrs on this site i let out all the vile things him & his new gf did to me. So I'm just sad all the time, everything that was important to me & all those years of happiness disappeared, instantly. I was destroyed. I can't even date to this day. I go to work & then hole up in my room in my apartment & have no motivation to do anything or make friends. I'm like OMG my parents didn't tell me it was gonna be this bad or happen this fast. I even blamed my life on them! ha ha because it was so good and then just stopped and they didn't tell me. But I think they didn't tell me because they each went thru many many heartbreaking & even near death experiences & yet they are always laughing & seem to move on. I'm jealous of them. Why can't I be strong like them? I get on here once in awhile to vent & have others read my story because it makes me feel just a little better & when I read others stories(any support group, not just divorce), I feel better that I'm not alone. My point is, I like this place alot because I don't bad mouth my ex anymore and I'm still destroyed, but i'm adapting and I never take life, health, familly, or friends for granted because they can be taken from you in an instant. Plus I'm destroying myself emotionally & life is going on without me. It may sound negative but in my eyes it's not, but nothing lasts forever so cherish those good times & realize u have to have some bad times to appreciate the good ones & it defines who you are & how you will treat others. If you learn from it, who will help others in need because you remember what you went through, & those people will never forget you. And everyone dies but when it happens to us, we will be remembered. We will have left our mark here on earth forever, while the selfish ones will soon be forgotten. I do need to get a little tougher with moving on & getting out more, someday my ambition will come back. My dad told me he feels sorry for people who don't enjoy life. I was jealous, I'm the young one! With more stuff to do & he is an old fart that makes the most of everyday I wish I could be like him. So I forced myself to do a dream I always had. This Sept. I'm going to Europe for a month. Being married & having a mate is great, but it's not the only great thing. Seeing this beautiful earth & different cultures & foods is what its about for me, for now. Doing things that i thought i will never get to do or need a mate to do it with is bull. Life is what YOU make it & some things won't go your way or in the life you had planned, but you still get up & try again, & again. And in the end if we end up with the life we didn't expect or even want no one can not say we sure didnt give it a try & had fun on the way. You have to have rainy days 2 really appreciate the great ones. I wish all on this site were close enough to meet in person, I would love to make friends but the site has been a Godsend and I've made some already. I don't cry profusly anymore, and Iam a realist with "life is so hard", because now I truly know what my parents meant. (I should have stayed a kid lol)And not all the time but I have realized that we do have a choice in most matters for ourselves emotionally. I hope this helped anyone who read it and needed it. Sorry so long, it has been awhile & i just had these thoughts that compelled me to get on here today.
