A much better day

Maybe it is because I concentrated so much on the bad side of my life lately, but after reading what I wrote and hearing from all my friends I had a much better day today. I also am finding it much easier to see how wrong I have been. Yes my situation has not changed but I actually had a busy day today. I took Robin to work, came home and started my usual AADD(Adult Attention Deficit Disorder)routine. I sat down checked my email and ate breakfast. Then I got up to get a notepad to make a list of what I needed to do today. I never wrote a thing on the pad. I got distracted putting away some left over Christmas items. Then I put the boxes in my car to take to storage. Then I had to empty the trash and recyclables and put those bags in my car. I realize I still have laundry at Dorothy's house so I grab two items I forgot. Back to the computer for a few minutes. Then decide I should date the Christmas boxes so next year I will know what actually fits in my trailer. Then I realize tonight is Potluck night at the Clubhouse and the menu ins "C" food. So I check my freezer mind some chicken tenders and decide to make ShakeNBake chicken. But I have to light the pilot light on the propane stove and it wouldn't light a few days ago. After 10 minutes it lights! Yeah! so I make the chicken, it takes 40 minutes. I decide I need to go to the bank to deposit support check then will go to library to pick up extra Income Tax forms for Dorothy and me. Chicken is done car is full so I go to Dorothy's. She had another fall last week but she is feeling better, can I take her to the grocery store and the bank?Sure! I get one load of laundry in the washer and one dried and folded and we leave for errands. We go to Henry's for produce then to Von's from there she isn't feeling great we go to McDonald's for 2 sweet teas and 2 $1.00 chicken nuggets.Then to her bank. I realize I forgot my check so I can't go to bank. Next stop my storage, Dorothy gets out to look around, I put away boxes. Then on way home(I am driving her car)she decides she needs gas, so off to Costco to get in line for gas. After gas I decide to go to Post Office and pick up my mail. Then rush to Dorothy's to put away her groceries and transfer mine to my car and dash home for Potluck at 6pm. Only a few people came tonight to potluck. But food was still good. After wards we play cards, but my usual partner is sick tonight so Bob fills in for Terri. By 8:30pm we quit early and here I am. Found my check for tomorrow. Dentist at 10am then on to Dorothy's to finally finish laundry and go to bank. My day was full for a change. I still thought about the senseless death of Pikachu the cat. I still can't believe they neglected her so badly she died. It just isn't right that a poor dumb animal has to lose its life because of their stupidity. But for once I am tired and will close up and turn off and go to bed! Goodnight!
