a Mother's comment..

Once a mother always a Mother.. with that being said I am a Prison Mother. This is not something I chose for my life. This is a road that I am working my way down, because my son made poor choices in his life. Drugs became his best friend, and crime became his pastime. Now he will be living in a prison, until he has paid his debt to society. This is exactly where he needs to be. I would not change his life right now, even if I could. My son has made some serious mistakes. He knows this, and so do I. But, after he puts all of this behind him, he will be ready to step forward into the community to be the man God meant him to be. This third time around, I have handled this very differently..In his 6 months being in jail I have visited twice. I wrote him a letter after I found out he was marrying a women I knew nothing about and all arranged this from jail. Of course I was invited, but my words were very harsh and to the point. I am not in any mood to celebrate anything and will not be attending. How could he damage anothers life.Bring her into this muck of his..the state will glob on to her $ house and her nursing job in a heart beat for his back bills. What was he doing I asked..? Hadnt seen him since then, but visited friday..well while waiting for my visit here come the 1st set of visitors and there she is. She didnt see me but it was odd watching her without her knowing I was there. Had my visit and yes they got married and he was in good spirits..just love to visit when hes clean..we talked alot about his children and his trial coming up..am still firm on my feelings about him seeing the kids right now and my involement with him being there. I let him no I was supporting him but just from the side lines..and yes the next day visit after they got married. The police arrested her and tried to indict her for something in the case. see why I dont want to be involved..scarey being the mother.. Am doing ok just needed to vent..thank DS peeps
