A mother in pain

I wished I could change the way it is but I can’t.

A mother in pain....

Checking in you in your room to make sure you were ok. The feeling that something was wrong but I could not fix it.

Looking into your eyes knowing you were lying to me and couldn’t stop yourself.

I wanted so badly to let you know how much I cared but it came off as trying to hard

Letting you be free and knowing it was going to mean losing you one day.

Telling you to go saved you from worse things.

The feeling of not taking it back even if it killed me.

Not knowing how you are and knowing you won’t reach back out to me.

Never will I stop loving you no matter who you become.
