A Most Bittersweet Dream
Well, at least for me it is.
Last night, in my Gabapentin induced deep sleep, I dreamt that I was going to some awesome comic and collector store (one of my favorite things). It was on a hill and you could see the NY city skyline when you looked off to the east.
I couldn't find parking in front which, in my mind, was a problem because I've had trouble walking distances; or at least I'll have trouble walking back with all this extra baggage from the MS.
Having finally found parking, a bit of a ways from the shop, I was walking toward the entrance when I looked down at my shadow. With the sun behind me, I could see all that glorious weight that I'd lost and was feeling really good until I realized...
The shadow did not have a CANE!
I looked at my hand and I didn't have my cane either! I was so happy I allowed my self to stop and sob for half a moment before I did the happy girl wiggle and continued toward the store. I was excited to get my shopping done so that I could get back home and tell everyone!
...then I woke up. Le sigh.

Nice! You remember some great detail like I do at times. Love your dream about not needing a cane and being ecstatic about a new figure. :)
Don\'t forget.. dreams are what futures are built from. :)
Oh, do you have a handicap placard for parking? If not, it can make the world of difference in wanting to venture out or not sometimes. :)
Yeah, I\'m in the process of getting one. I\'m finding that I have to practically stalk my doctor\'s office to get him to remember to sign the danged thing. LOL :)
