A month today

Yesterday  we scattered dad's ashes at the cremetorium in a woodland area it was full of daffodil's that is where my grandad is so father and son back togther. It was a lovely sunny day but the hardest thing was when we had to lay our roses i just could'nt do it .It meant to me it was finally over.I know it was just a shell and dad is with us in spirit but it was hard to think that was all that was left of my dad.The only perfect man in my world.Istill can't believe he's not here. It's a month to date today and in some ways it seem's it's been a long time.I hate all these emotions ijust don't know what to do at times.I will try and stay strong as thats what dad would have wantedbut i feel like a little girl thats losted her favorite teddy.Does that make sense? Love you loads dad xxx

Hi Sue, it makes perfect sense, there so many different emotions you are going to go through, i went through feeling angry, alone, lost hurt, and many more, coming to terms with my Dads death is something i can\'t see will ever happen, but I\'m slowly starting to pull myself together, well i have to i have my family to think of, and through my husband has been my rock there is only so much crying he can put up with, so by posting on Daddy\'s girl and sharing how we are feeling helps me alot, I\'m sure our dads are looking down on us and willing us to be strong and try and remember the good /fun times we had with them, chin up, always here if you need to talk...take care kacs x
