A MOMMY DAY!
My little one just wants mommy today, makes me feel loved. She fussing for anyone else. i held her and she curled up next to me and went right to sleep with her hand on my chest. awwww..... i got some sleep last night... whoo hoo! she fell asleep with me to begin with. but i made myself put her in the crib, and told myself to ignore her grunting, and that she was ok. and finally slept. got up to feed her and put her back and slept again. i feel better. had a bath today, and a friend is coming to visit and we are going to the park with baby and puppy. its a nice day out. might go see another friend too. im exited to get out of the house a bit, to do something other than appointments. i found im not so nervous taking her out if i am the one driving also. should get some good dog training in too. wish i could find my tennis ball. lol. but should be a good day. on a wierd note, when i was pregnant i found that my arms and legs would go numb... like needles and pins. well, since i had her my right middle finger from halfway up has been numb, and my other fingers as well, but mostly my middle. i wonder if it is from the epidural. i dont know. i hope it will go away, its really annoying!!! and i need that hand to work well. thats the one i use to do my woodburning, once i start again i would like to know if i am burning myself!!!ok, well hope everyone out there has a good day as well!!! love you all. its great to say i can enjoy a day now...i joined DS in october of 2007. for months a good day was like a dream... and a far fetched one. and now, though i may live with my parents right now... i have a bed, i dont sleep on the mattress on a floor, i have 50 bucks to my name, but can make it last. and i can enjoy simple things like the park. and spending time with friends. im glad to not be caught up in the gambing anymore. im so happy to finally be myself.

Hi Drac... When I was carrying my youngest son, Jordan, I was 40. I too had pins and needles... but only in my hands. I looked it up on the internet and found and it was carpal tunnel syndrome. It subsided after I had him... but it took a little while. I did not have carpal tunnel before the pregnacy, nor do I have it now. It was weird (and it hurt).
Icing the hands and feet should help.
I know exactly what you mean about not sleeping on a floor and having a few bucks to your name, and enoying simple things....
When I was in my addiction years ago, I walked away from EVERYTHING several times, sold two cars for cash, and I slept on many a park benches and parking garage decks.
Today, 23 years later, knowing God, having a job, paying my bills, having a roof over my head, and food on the table is more than enough.
God Bless you and baby. Debby
Hay Dracona...
Mommy days...for the rest of your life. Or is it the other way around? We get Mother\'s Day, kids get, every day! :)
Hormones are going crazy while you\'re pregnant, and crazy afterwards! I don\'t know if hormones effect circulation... you need to tell your dr about it, if it persists. lol Dr. Me!
I joined DS in the very beginning of Nov, 2007... we went through your pregnancy together :) You made us all very proud of you...
Take care, mommy...Love, Grandma Robin ;)
Hi there new mommy and welcome Ariyah. I was just catching up on je\'s and was especially liking the one about the little one smiling and laughing. Did you know that babies are born knowing how to smile? It is not a copied behavior, even babies who are born blind know how to smile. Cool, huh? Again welcome to the world Ariyah and you have such a wonderful mom! Love and Hugs to you both!!!!
Mommy day --- aw !!! Treasure each and every one of those - the time just goes so fast. It is a time to be enjoyed. I know at times it feels lonely but you will always have each other - it is so very precious. Hugs Suzi
I love how you appreciate your daughter...and appreciate what you have instead of dwelling on what you don\'t have~very inspiring! I\'m happy that Ariyah has you. I always knew you\'d be a great Mom...through the first pregnancy and that devastation to the bad boyfriend to this new life you have been blessed with. Take care...
hugs Brigette
