A moment of humour!
The following is a quote from a fund-raising CD called "Guide Cats for the Blind" by a Yorkshireman called Les Barker (get it if you can - it is hilariously funny) - maybe you need the British Sense-of-Humour to get it though!!!
Speak the truth - be open-minded but do not lean forward or your brain may fall out.Know that there will be good days and bad days - and this is one of them.Always dismantle and clean the dog before going to bed but do not use Spot remover or you may never see him again.Do not wish for everything unless you have a big cupboard.Do not concern yourself with the pace of life - worry more about it's sudden ending!Sleep well - if you cannot - Practice more often.Borrow from pessimists - they never expect to get it back.Be gentle with yourselfBear in mind that depression is anger without enthusiasmAnd good health is merely the slowest way to die.Never argue with a fool for he is doing the sameBe yourself - if you cannot be wiser - try to be olderA Closed mouth gathers no feetBe cheerful - Strive to be happy - and remember that your sole purpose in life is to serve as a warning to others.
I hope this made you smile as much as it did me. If not - go look at yourself in the mirror cos that usually makes me laugh.
Get the idea I might be having a better day today..............

Bear, thanks for the smile. As you may have noticed, some people just get to me here in DS. I apologize if I came off harsh or uninformed of content written by others here in HIV. I guess I let some of the members get to me. I don\'t have an issue w/ most, but some just make my throat sting. Since I\'ve opened my business, it has kept me from visiting as often as I wish. But I\'ve always enjoyed what ever you have to offer us here in DS. Thanks again Bear xxx
My dear man - please don\'t apologise for you have no reason to do so.
We all get wound up over other people\'s sometimes thoughtless comments whether face to face or in print/on screen. I used to get very wound up but as I have got \"longer int he tooth\" I find I can let more of those comments wash over me because I realise they are often made through ignorance. The one duty we all have is to educate the ignorant!!!
My philosophy these days - as far as I can - is to treat others as I would wish to be treated by them. A lot forget the saying \"you reap what you sow\" and wonder why things go wrong for them. Yes, some people will always take advantage and assume you are weak but that is THEIR loss through ignorance and one day they will find they need friends and then wonder where they have all gone!
As business appears to be on the rebound, my hours have doubled. Due to a few changes, I\'m more than exposed to different personalities that sometimes doesn\'t mix. So I\'m no longer exposed & I\'m in the middle of it \" weeeeee \" But, there must be something that I didn\'t process or accept that is a part of my past. No idea what that would be, but I\'m trying to figure that out.
\" to treat others as I would wish to be treated by them. \" Words to live by, words I live by. That includes my employees, I\'ve always happy help, any of them would watch my back. They are treated like colleges, they represent me when I\'m not available. Work is becoming fun again, my God how long that has taken to happen. When you treat people like that, good things happen.
I am, unfortunately, very very tired... I haven\'t been this tired since 83 when I was exposed. This is the part of long term that always gets to me. Fatigue really blows, makes long days so so difficult. Hips to my toes, I have no issues medically, but fatigue is demobilizing. Even worse, I look it too :(
