A Matter of Faith

I have a simple faith.  Some would say child like.  I have claimed Jesus the Christ as my Lord and Savior and He and His Father will decide where I go when I die.  There have been questions of faith through the years of my journey.  Some have been answered or explained by men, while others have been answered by me through study.  Genesis has been a controversial point for many, many years as scientists and theologians have argued about creation.  Ask any kid about the book and he'll probably ask the big question,,,Where did Cain's wife come from.  I asked it and ministers stumbled all over for an answer.  Adam and Eve,,two kids,,,no mention of a female.  How about this answer?  Genesis shows the linage of the Hebrew nation.  There were other nations created by God, otherwise the world population would be quite a bit smaller than it is now.  It took six days to create the universe.  That's fast.  But, think about this.  Early man dealt with time in days and years.  Telling him it took millions of years for creation would be far too much to believe.  What happened during those six days(millions of years)?  Compare what scientists say and Genesis.  The sequence of events are the same.  Not bad for people living thousands of years ago!  Now, what about the strange things that happened in The Bible?  Take the parting of the Red Sea,,scientists would have us believe Moses found a low water crossing.  The Star of Bethlehem,,,a comet?  There are many others and scientists want show them as natural phenomena.  They want to put all things into the laws of nature,,,man made laws.  But if God made heaven and earth, can't he have some tricks up His sleeve to make them happen?  It's His world after all.  After all this has been said, let me throw a curve at you.  Although I am a Christian, I don't believe Christ is the only way and that our God form is the only form He took.  Although there is only One God, He took forms that people could understand be the Hebrew, Muslum, Hindu, etc.  A form that would fit their character.  I cannot believe that an all loving God would condemn all other faiths while saving just one.  I believe we will see all our brothers and sisters when the end comes and we will, finally, have true peace.  As my high school chemistry said, "It doesn't matter how the earth was made, but that God did it".

TO BELIEVE IN \'\'GOD\'\' YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE IN THE SUPERNATURAL, AS FOR OTHER RELIGIONS, WELL IT TOOK ME YEARS TO GO THROUGH THEM ALL, AND THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO HEAVEN \'\'THE LORD JESUS CHRIST\'\' HE SAID, I AM THE TRUTH , THE WAY, NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER BUT THROUGH ME, IT IS BY FAITH THAT WE ARE SAVED IN \'\'THE LORD JESUS CHRIST\'\', BELIEVE ME I HAVE SEEN MUCH, AND BEEN THROUGH MUCH, INVOLVED IN TOO MUCH, EVEN THE OCCULT, AND \'\'THE LORD JESUS CHRIST\' HAS SAVED ME AND SHOWN ME THAT HE IS REAL AND TRUE.. READ THE SCRIPTURES AND LET HIM SPEAK TO YOU, FEEL HIS PRESENCE AND HIS HOLY SPIRIT, LOVE LUCY***

I think we all find \'peace\' in whatever we choose to believe based on our needs and over time I have noticed these seem to change based on circumstances and such things as our health and even how much we feel loved and well cared for.

I think having peace in our faith achieves the greatest good for our lives whatever that may be.

((hugs))

I believe God created the universe too and I believe in Jesus, but I also believe in Buddha and many other spiritual leaders, and that there are many paths to God and that He loves us all. And I believe we will see all our loved ones in the next dimension/heaven/or whatever you want to call it. Our soul never dies. I believe we are souls, doing our best to learn the right path to become closer to our Creator.
Hugs and love to you!
