a lover on the inside

I wonder, i read on a forum about someone who found a person who had a romantic relationship with one of her alters, i wonder how many people do that, i mean i can see the advantages, they would always be there for you etc. and the disadvantages like there wouldn't be a lot of touching but id like to talk to people who do that.
