A look back at December & forward
I was looking thru December's entries...boy, was I crabby! I do remember feeling a great need to journal on DS. I was surely a pressure cooker, needing to blow off steam before exploding!
So I'm back. Had "little Christmas" with my mom & sister. Missed my brother-in-law; he had to work. I pre-braced myself, knowing that someone would put me down/ridicule me; it was my sister this time. But thinking back on it, I think she was just projecting her stress onto me. Not that she ought to do it that way, but at least I know what mindset to handle her with next time (and I'm sure there will be a next time!).
Now that it's a new year, I think my primary focus this year will be on health:- physical health (exercise, drinking water)- financial health (continuing to pay down debt)- emotional health (practicing healthy detachment, boundaries)- spiritual health (some self-investment time, confronting some of my spiritual issues)
The reason being is that I think good health is the foundation for a good life. Good health enforces your infrastructure & makes you strong, enabling you to better handle life's curve balls. It also minimizes things that can distract you from enjoying life.
So...to health!
