A little zoo time
I dropped off some paperwork at the DAV today involving my claim for VA disability.
The office is located downtown and after my visit there I stopped at the St.Louis Zoo in Forest Park. Since it was a wonderful day, I decided to do my daily walkabout at the zoo.
I'm glad that I did. It was a nice break from the mallwalking or Walmart laps that I had been doing. It's amazing how great a zoo we have. And, as of now, it is still free.I by no means was able to cover the entire zoological park. (It is bigggg!) But I did walk about an hour and 15 minutes, which is about my limit. (and it took awhile to build myself up to that) I did see the hippos, the asian elephants, and miniature mongoose, and other things. It was all great fun.
I feel pretty good. I hope that you do too.
