A Little Time to Breathe

With the Christmas season upon us, things have shifted into high gear. Have barely had time to do any genealogy or reading; just card-writing, baking, decorating! On the plus side, I have done some exercising and cleaning, so that's an improvement over previous years.Once again, my son is helping with cookie baking. He's really getting a knack at knowing how the dough should look and how it should behave. I've ordered a couple things for Christmas, taking advantage of free shipping rates! There's just a few things I still need to take care of, but it's do-able.Work is leveling off, for now anyway. I actually have time to write this!Some news: Mean Sister's husband had a lesion on his vocal cords that had to be biopsied. The good news is that it didn't seem as bad as the doctor originally thought. Right now, we're still waiting for the tests on the biopsy to be finalized.
