A little low

Feeling a little low today.  I am not proud of who I have become.  I am no longer proactive....have to learn to give it to God.

Still having problems with religion.  I believe in God but I also believe that the word had been so screwed up and from such a different time that it is hard to relate into my life.  I hate being on the fence.  Was raised you either do or don't...God doesn't except some....it is either all or nothing.
I am feeling so worthless and just can't even relate to the outside world.  I feel like life is passing me by and that one day I will regret not getting out and involved.
Can't talk to husband.  He doesn't want to hear or accept the fact that we both have a problems that need addressed.
My ideal mate would help me figure out what the problems are and how to fix them.  Instead, I am left to my own confused devices and work on my on issues.  While he just ignores the fact that he can be disrespectful, cruel, and uncaring.  I am in an mentally and emotionally abuse relationship and am too old and defeated to fight back.
So, here I am back at what I call rock bottom and the only way to go is up.
Need to keep reading and learning about the ego and self worth.  Sooner hopefully, than later I will get to the place where no one or no thing can destroy my happiness.

So sorry you\'re feeling low. I\'m not sure if this is an old post. Doesn\'t really matter. Sometimes we just Need that extra support and push from a friend. Telling you, that you are an inspiration to many people.
I struggle as wel with my confidence. Tell yourself \"you\'re fun, you\'re beautiful and by golly everybody likes you.
Have a great minute, hour, day.
Peace and hugs, Beth

Hey, lady!! Thought we were in this together?! I\'ve recently found a book on Free-eBooks.net, called, \"10 Great Ways to Self Esteem\", by James Vanstone, that I think everyone should check out! A lot of the stuff is pretty much the same as everyone else tells you, or things that you already know, really, but just don\'t tell yourself often enough. And, if your hubby won\'t give you the support (mentally, emotionally, or physically) that you are needing right now, then, lean on ME, or US, that HAVE and WILL be here for you, and, if you \" find\" your self esteem on your own, or with our help, then you can deal with your hubby later, when you feel strong enough, within yourself, to tell him how you really feel about your relationship with him and that he has some decisions to make...either he\'s with you, or he\'s against you, but, you have to be happy on your own, with your own self, before you can be happy within a relationship. Try out the book, see if it\'s what you\'re looking for...you can take it, or leave it, it\'s up to you. You won\'t hurt MY feelings if you don\'t care for it...it\'s just a suggestion. As far as religion goes...that is all up to you. No one can tell you, except you, what God you need to pray to, or if you should or shouldn\'t have religion in your life. Favorite quote, from my favorite movie, \"God doesn\'t care which church you go to, as long as you show up!\" ;) Love ya, girl. Know that I\'ve got your back and that you\'re not alone. Getting ready to make a stand in my life, too. Not going to be less than the shit on peoples shoes...moving up to the bitch that isn\'t taking shit from anyone anymore! ;)
