A little better
Well, this week so far is a little better. Last night, I did 20 minutes of Wii Fit Plus Free Run and then 30 minutes of Wii Walk It Out. The night before, I did 30 minutes of Wii Fit Plus Free Run. I only got the to the Y once this week. I haven't been sleeping well (tossing and turning, thinking about work.) I was going to go to the Y this morning but we got 2 inches of snow and did not feel like shoveling my way out the door. So I will go tomorrow. I have my bowling league tonight. So my steps and exercise is better this week than it has been in about 2 months. Needs some improvement, but I am headed in the right direction.
Food is better, but that is not saying much. I did eat chocolate ice cream last night. I need a big reduction in carbs. But improvement is the right direction, so I am going to just keep going and try to make each day a little better than the one before. I have been taking my vitamins again this week, so that is also an improvement. (You may remember I have a severe Vitamin D deficiency.)
Thank God! I only got 1 new fire this week (so far.) Praying for a few more weeks of this. Got a few barkers done, which helps. Going to keep trying to squeeze in some OT and get cleaned up.
2011 focus: this year I am going to focus on getting back to me! Better eating, losing weight, reaching my goals, focus on getting happier, de-clutter my life and my house. Better exercise, feeling better. Also, doing more things that are important to me, like getting in more reading time and time to play Wii or whatever (more leisure and enjoying life.) By doing this and getting back on track with my reading re: panic attacks, I am hoping to get back to "normal." I still sometimes feel the anxiety kick in and I feel the changes happen in my body (shortness of breath, dizzy spells, heart racing.) So far, it has been not often and not as debilitating as it was this past summer/Fall. But I really want this to go away. I used to go on any kind of amusement park ride. Now, I even think about going on some of them and I feel a panic attack come on. I need to get past these internal fears I have.
