A little A-ha

So I just figured out why I've been feeling a little blah the past few days.  One, I'm coming down with something.  (oh joy)  But, second, and more importatly, I know that Husband is going back to the place where the A happened.  I was getting tense because I know he is going to trigger, probably quite a bit.  Before he left, he asked me a few more questions; I've been working on them.  And in the conversation, he said that I don't recognize his triggers.  Other than let him know that I'm here now and try to listen (if he'll talk), there isn't anything I can do about it.  The only thing I can control is me.  If I let myself get all worked up, I'll not be in any condition to support him.
Moments like this, I recognize as the old way of thinking vs. the new way of thinking.  The new way is much less miserable.

Those triggers are miserable....and he doesn\'t understand when i get them or wants to discuss it. You are doing good.
