A Letter To Cara - Tears + Smiles = Rainbows
Mom Writing to: Cara On: Sat Jan 6 16:36:36 2007 Wrote... Dear Cara, First of all I have a favor to ask... will you share my letters with my loved ones who are there with you... I want them all to know, my dad, my grandmother Peggy, my mom, Woody, Ray, Wilma, Joyce, Johnny, Matthew, and Ruby that I love them and I'm counting on you all being there with each other the way I saw you in December. I look forward to seeing you all when I get to come join you. No more than I did well when I had to discuss my loved one's time to leave earth will I burden you over much talking about my time. Just know that for now I'm trying to do my best here to share love with our loved ones here and looking forward to the time I can see you all again. I've been busy today trying to catch up on the laundry. I haven't really caught up in over 2 months. I go back to work tomorrow and I'll be working the next 4 days. I don't do much of anything else as you know when I work. Twelve hour days are long long long. I talked to Elizabeth a little while ago... She told me about a paper she wrote called How I Feel... and then she listed memories that different family members are sharing with her about you. She's really a sensitive writer. After she read it I was crying... not bitter tears... just sad tears... I miss you... we all miss you... we're working though on learning that we still have you and will always will have you in our minds and hearts. Elizabeth apologized for making me cry but I told her no... no... that I was so grateful that she would talk to me about you and that I could talk to her. I hate it that people are so worried about making me cry that they want to act like you never existed... Isn't that stupid... they just leave me to cry alone... Much rather share memories of you... I cry sure but I smile too... I make rainbows... that's what I want us all to learn to do... I want every one of you to know that although I may address this to Cara I love and miss you all. I remember the special places you hold in my heart and in my life and I make rainbows for you too. Hold my child Cara... I miss her too... I'm glad she's with you. Please keep all of us alive in your hearts as we keep you alive in ours. If you have any suggestions or ideas for us to help each other here please share them with us... Since we're all hoping to hear from any or all of you we're not going to be afraid. I'll close for now. Look forward to hearing from yall very soon. Love you all so very very much.

Sometimes I think that the only thing keeping me going is coming here (to my journal) and talking to Molly. It\'s like a little hole in time where I can be with her forever and it makes my heart feel better. It\'s funny but sometimes I think she really hears all of it while other times I know that it\'s just me........ writing for me....... in search of her.
Still, I know I\'ll keep doing it. I don\'t think I have any choice.
