A Lesson I Learned the Hard Way...

Infidelity should not be put up with.. When someone commits adultery, it means there is either something wrong with them, or something wrong witht the marriage.. Those problems dont fix themselves.. You cant just "forgive & forget".. You and your spouse have to do the work to figure out what the problem is and fix it.. This usaully requires the help of a preofessional.. If the cheating spouse is not willing to seek the help of a professional and do the work required to fix the problems, then they are not really serious about making the marriage work.. They might try to hold on to the marriage out of convenience or wanting to "have their cake & eat it too", but the same old issues will keep on resurfacing if they are not identified, addressed and thoroughly worked out... Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way through experience.
