A horrible year

Well I hit my first year apart from Deb today. There was no thunder and lightning no claps of thunder. The sun rose and has now set. the world carried on turning. Not sure if I expected any of those things to happen but then I never expected to make it to the end of the year moderately intact.
Happy to say that I have made it and will again take the next year a day at a time and when the times get rough  I will take it hour by hour.
Slowly coming to terms with my situation and adapting to the changes in life.
 
Tried various things over the year and some have worked some have not. I know that for now I am destined to be alone not lonely but just alone.
I have  my memories of our time together and these I will keep forever.
 
I would like to say thanks to all at DS who have been there and listened to my ranting.
