A ho hum day

Its been a ho hum day, although Mike came over with Kathy, we filled out job applications together, resumes etc. I got the wardrobe fixed for the realitor so we can call that extra large room a bedroom. He fixed the overhead lighting said one whole line was burnt out, will go get another one for me. Still have not heard from Randy for the duct work under the house, I bought the stuff - its starting to get colder but I just bundled up for now.
Realitor called this evening, 2 months on the market, she sounds like maybe we should drop the price of our place. I just do not know. I do not think it will make any difference I do not think anything is moving. I need to come out with enough to purchase another place so do not want to gotoo low, and I have never been ahome seller before.....I am so scared I can not do this financially alone anymore, and I can not afford anywhere else either...sigh I do not think anything will move until spring now so.....?????
I have 4 hunters coming to stay with me for 1 week @ $105 a night boy will that help You w/remember Roger from 2007, the resort screwed up their reservations so I told them about my 3 rooms I would rent out...Any little bit of finances helps at this moment. Sold the washer for $100 less than wanted to but Kathy needs it, and it may just sit here so I let it go.
Went to see insurance agent re: health insurance, does not look real great, $333/mo vs 509 with 2000 & 5000 deductible gees whose kidding who. I may just go without the only thing it saves is my place if I get seriously ill....3 1/2 yrs til medicare...never thought I would say this but wish I were older now.
Oh Roger I wish I knew what to do - and I don't. Alls I can do is cry because I am scared. Wish you were here I am tired of being alone, thinking of what we would be doing right now.

Life is so scary without them, I so understand that. I hope that you can sell your house, but you may be right about the market right now. I don\'t know a lot about selling, we only did it twice, but lowering the price might help a little? Who knows? I am glad the hunters are coming to stay. Maybe they could recommend you to others that need a place? I am so sorry that you are having such a hard time. Sending lots of hugs your way, Dawn

Thinking of you, know your struggles, that feeling of being just buried. Two months is not that long to have it on the market, though; hang in there, that buyer might be just around the corner; you never know. Glad you are getting some extra money coming in, would there be any chance of continuing to rent rooms throughout the hunting season? Do you get people up there for winter sports who might rent? Best of luck to you and know I am thinking of you. Julie

It is so very hard, I know but hang in there! You are making decisions and sound like you have a good head on your shoulders. I am sure the answers will come for you. Renting out a room or two on a permanent basis might be an answer to help while you are waiting for that perfect offer.
