A Hat Shower For Diem: Support Diem As She Battles Lymphoma
One of our own DailyStrength members, Diem, is battling lymphoma, and her DailyStrength friends have come together to throw her a real hat shower through the mail to support her! These women, who originally met on the Infertility Support Group over three years ago, have never met in person before. However, they have become almost sisters to each other: laughing, crying, and hugging through the most amazing joys and through the most heartbreaking sorrows. The latest news of Diem's diagnosis spurred them to reach out and "shower" her with hats which they sent her in the mail, and we at DailyStrength want to keep the momentum going! Please visit Diem's online hat shower tribute, and show her your support by commenting on her story or hugging and commenting on these other ladies' stories. Anything you do will warm all their hearts, and who knows-- perhaps the cure lies not in medicine or science, but in the love and power of human support. Best wishes, TeamDS PS: Do you have a story about meeting other DailyStrength members and the power of support? PM us!

I am so happy to be a part of this hat shower and happy to be a part of DS. It is a wonderful site filled with wonderful people. I am here for Diem during this hard time!
I am sorry I have not had the pleasure of knowing her personally but I would like to extend my heartfelt prayers her way. I remember how much I was touched when I received well wishes and cards from people whom I didn\'t even know after my spinal fusion surgery. It is the random acts of kindness from complete strangers who I feel renew our hope the most in the power of the powers of human kindnesss in spirit. God will bless you and it gives us all struggles but nothing that we are not able to handle with his faith Remember we are never truly alone if we just believe:)
I have lymphoma too, and we together can beat this. Best of luck, I do believe in miracles and just love the miracle maker. Would enjoy having someone to share with. Vicki
