A great weekend, but it was over too soon.

I had great weekend with my kids.  We were very busy and had alot of fun. After I picked them up, we went out to eat at a place I had gift card for.  We went back to my place and played some games on the xbox. We also watch a movie and then went to sleep. We went for coffee saturday moring where we met my mom, dad, sister and her kids. My girls hung out with my sister, mom and her kids. My boy and I browsed books and music cds.  I bought him a novel to read. It is a subject he is interested in so I am sure he will read it. After coffee and books, my younger two kids, my dad and I went back to my fathers house.  I made lunch. My sister, mom and oldest girl went clothes shopping.  I dont have enough clothes for her so it was a good thing.  After lunch I took my kids to the park to launch the rocket my son and I built. We had two successful launches but during the second launch it got stuck in a tall tree so that was the end of that. We went back to my place so my two year old could take a nap. After her nap we went swimming. I made dinner and we all watched a movie. I took the kids to sunday school and church Sunday. After that we went over to my parents house were I made lunch for everyone. Then back to my house to play some more before I took them to thier mothers house.  It was a full weekend but over way to fast.  I am thankful that I get to see them on thursdsay evenings. It takes some of the sting out of having to drop them off on Sundays.  I am looking very forward to this summer.  The more time I spend with the kids, the better our time is gettting.  My son is grow closer me like he was before the year long separation. My youngest is still very clingy, but getting a bit more independent. My oldest is still distant, but with time I hope she warms up some more.
