A Granfather...I am!
Hello Community,
Today at 3:12 (CST) I became a Grandfather. My son, Jeff, and his wife, Rajaa, had a daughter. Her name is Baylasan. Baylasan is Arabic for the Elderflower.
I was hoping for a girl. My father had 8 brothers. I have two sons and my brother has two sons. It is great to have a girl in the family. There is no way I can express how happy and pleased that I am.

Congratulations to you and your son and his wife. Spoiling grandchildren is one of the best pleasures in life. I have 5 granddaughters myself....no grandsons, and they are all spoiled by their grandfather.

Yes, it is exciting time. Jeff and I had a difficult time speaking as we were both tearing up. Yes, I really like the name.
