A Gossamer Goal

I am on a photography binge. Nothing unusual there. Going buggy on it. Also nothing unusual. I love bugs. Humans only think they are diverse. Insects are second only to plants in their diversity.
Gossamer is a popular thread in the insect realm. Spider webs are my personal hero's of gossamer art. Catching them on film was between difficult and impossible. The main thing that makes digital far superior for recording gossamer threads is the lack of penalty for bad shots. I do not have to waste resources on processing thousands of inadequate shots. Right click, delete and they are gone.
The masters of gossamer art are prepping their canvases now. Fall is the best time to see their finished works. This year I am hoping to catch their works in progress. I am on the hunt for gossamer talent in crooks of trees and woody herbs. Between fences and roof eaves.
I am attempting to speak quite literally. Photographable.
My psyche is crawling with gossamer metaphor.
